If you’ve been reluctant to order SKIMS, the new shapewear line by Kim Kardashian West, then now might be the time to give it a go. SKIMS launched last year to some controversy over its original name, KIMONO. Despite this, the popular shapewear, which until now has only been sold online at skims.com, has consistently sold out.
As of Wednesday, the online exclusive brand is now offered at shop.nordstrom.com and select Nordstrom locations, including nine stores in California. Although not every SKIMS style is available (only Solutionwear, Fits Everybody Underwear, and accessories for now), this new partnership enables would-be customers to feel and try the line before they commit to buying. Even purchasing from shop.nordstrom.com offers buyers the well-known flexible return policy and historically exceptional customer service that Nordstrom offers.
SKIMS is an inclusive brand offering sizes XXS to 4X in a diverse range of nudes with three goals in mind: support, coverage, and emphasis. Taking a cue from her sister’s denim line, Khloe Kardashian’s Good American, Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS offers a “SEE IN YOUR SIZE” feature which allows you to see what the products look like on someone in your own size range, versus guessing based on a standard “model” size. While this is not offered at Nordstrom, they do use a diverse range of models in their provided product images. Prices range from $18 to $98.
